This is a portrait of a protester wearing a gas mask that I painted in a graffiti yard in Ventura County back in 2001. This was one of my first experiments painting portraits with aerosol. Upon my completion, I celebrated by taking the paint that collected around the stencil-tip of my short-cut Krylon hobby can and splattering hot pink explosions effects of paint around my portrait.
